Jared Kelly is an owner/broker with Brockman Real Estate based in Monterey, MA. We’ve been thrilled to work with him to stage a few fabulous homes. In honor of Get to Know Your Customer Day, we had a chat with Jared – he wasn’t easy to pin down: real estate is still extremely busy in the Berkshires. As of the writing of this post, we have one home currently staged with Jared: 19 Hawthorne Road, Stockbridge, MA, a 3 bed/3 bath end-unit condominium with Stockbridge Bowl beachfront.
Q. How long have you been in real estate?

A. About four-and-a-half years.
Q. What do you love about your job?
A. The main thing is that I enjoy the interpersonal relationships. I like to help people navigate challenges and issues and, ultimately, find a home that they love. I get to act as a counselor, business advisor, point person for construction and renovation, and more. It beats sitting at a desk all day, which is what I did as an attorney.
Q. What’s challenging about your job?
A. There are often unforeseen events – something that’s challenging but I enjoy finding the solutions. Buying or selling a home is a very stressful time for people and there are always ups and downs. Problems pop up and deals can be tense – different people deal with these kinds of issues in different ways.

Q. Why do you choose to work with Staged Ryte?
A. The Staged Ryte team is extremely professional and talented. They do an awesome job staging homes. They are very on-trend and have insight into the buyer segment who are purchasing here. Their staging really helps to bring in the buys.

Q. How’s 2020 going for you?
A. Extremely busy. I haven’t had time to settle in as an owner/broker with Chapin Fish at Brockman. We don’t have time to do anything but work with buyers and sellers.
